Kamistad Baby Gel has a pleasant honey-flavor, but it is sugar-free. It is noteworthy that sugar is deleterious to the teeth, due to its production of bacteria in babies' mouths which consequently dissolves their enamels. Additionally, Kamistad Baby Gel provides cooling and soothing effects, decreasing oral irritation and sense of discomfort.
While holding the baby, apply a pea-size amount of gel to the affected gum area and rub in gently by using a clean fingertip or a cotton swab. Apply approximately 2-3 times a day.
