Imboost Force

Echinacea purpurea, black elderberry, zinc picolinate.

Imboost Force FC caplet: Each caplet contains Echinacea purpurea 250 mg, black elderberry 400 mg and zinc picolinate 10 mg.
Imboost Force Kids syr: Each 5 mL of syrup contains Echinacea purpurea 250 mg, black elderberry 400 mg and zinc picolinate 5 mg.

Echinacea: Modulates the immune system of the body by the enhancement of the following: Macrophage function in phagocytosis, leukocytes, TNF-α, IL-1, IL-6, IL-10 and antibody production. Echinacea also works through several other mechanisms: Inhibition of ICAM-1 (to prevent penetration of microorganisms into human cells), inhibition of IL-6 and increasing of IL-10 production (anti-inflammatory).
Chicoric Acid (Phenolic component in Echinacea): Inhibits integrase enzyme in viral replication, and also as an antioxidant. Isobutylamide (Alkylamides in Echinacea): Inhibits cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes as an anti-inflammatory agent; phagocytosis stimulation.
Black Elderberry: Prevention of virus replication by neutralizing viral neuraminidase enzyme and inhibiting virus hemagglutinin activation. Modulates the body's immune system by the enhancement of cytokin IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α production at the beginning of infection, then regulating down by anti-inflammatory effects from IL-10 and IFN-β.
Zinc Picolinate: Inhibits virus replication, as an intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) inhibitor, and also helps in maturation of T and B lymphocytes cells.

Helps maintain immune system.

Imboost Force caplet: 1 caplet 3 times daily. Imboost Force Kids syr: Children >6 years: 1 tsp 3 times daily, <6 years: ½ tsp 3 times daily.

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Imboost Force. Multiple sclerosis, collagen disease, leukocytosis, TB, AIDS, autoimmune diseases.

Caution must be exercised when Imboost Force is combined with immunosuppressive agents and to patients with autoimmune diseases.

Although rarely reported, occasional side effects are mild gastrointestinal disturbances and allergic reactions.
