Indications/Uses
Topical treatment of fungal otitis externa.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 4 or 5 drops in the affected ear 3-4 times daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Viral & nonsusceptible bacterial infections of the external auditory canal including varicella & herpes simplex infections. Perforation of the eardrum.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ eyes & prolonged treatment. Discontinue use if signs of sensitivity occur. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn especially <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Erythema, stinging, burning, pruritus, urticaria, edema. Rarely, contact dermatitis.
