DUOLAC Daily Vitality is a Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) supplement for the whole family which helps maintain healthy gastrointestinal bacteria population and healthy bowel function. The LAB are protected by a unique patented dual coating technology developed to maximize their survival rate 100 times higher than uncoated LAB. The dual coating technology protects the LAB from mechanical pressure during manufacturing, transportation, heat and moisture. Its unique pH-dependent release mechanism ensures survivability of LAB against gastric acid and bile salts, while releasing them in the intestine to ensure their effective colonization and proliferation.
Ingredients: DUOLAC Daily Vitality contains 6 different lactic acid bacteria strains (7x10⁹CFU): (See table.)

Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Fructooligosaccharide, Corn starch, Maltodextrin, L-ascorbic acid, Magnesium stearate.

Clinical Experience: DUOLAC Daily Vitality was studied in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Subjects received either multispecies probiotics (B. longum, B. bifidum, B. lactis, L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus and S. thermophilus) or a placebo for a period of four weeks.
Results show reduction in Global IBS Relief in subjects who received DUOLAC was significantly higher than those who received placebo (68.0% vs 37.5%, p<0.05).
Improvements in abdominal pain or discomfort and bloating occurred in the probiotics group but not in the placebo group.
Fecal analysis revealed that B. lactis (p<0.01), L. rhamnosus (p<0.01) and S. thermophilus (p=0.04) had increased significantly in the DUOLAC group after four weeks.

Helps maintain the balanced intestinal microflora for a healthy gut.

Administration: 1 capsule daily (or 2 capsules/day for severe symptoms or as directed by physician) taken with water.
Children: Children too young to swallow a capsule are advised to take the powder after opening the capsule. The capsule does not contain the dual coating nor lactic acid bacteria and should not affect the product's effectiveness. Consult the doctor before use.

DUOLAC Daily Vitality should be used adjunct to a balanced and healthy lifestyle. It should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. Pregnant women and babies under the age of 1 are recommended to get advice from a doctor or health specialist before use.
Gluten Status: DUOLAC Daily Vitality is certified gluten free. No gluten or gluten containing materials are used in the manufacture or processing of the product.
Lactose Status: Lactose Free according to the guidelines stated by European Food Safety Authority. The reference threshold level is Danish reference of lactose not more than 10mg/100g in the product. Lactose is used in the medium for strains in DUOLAC Daily Vitality. However, lactose is undetectable in the final product. Should the patient have a condition that does not allow them to consume lactose, consult the doctor before using DUOLAC Daily Vitality.
Halal Status: Halal certified by Korea Muslim Federation.
