Indications/Uses
HIV-1 w/o past or present evidence of viral resistance to NNRTI in adults, in combination w/ other antiretrovirals.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab once daily. Co-administration w/ rifabutin: 1 Pifeltro tab bd.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Strong CYP450 (CYP)3A enzyme inducers which include but are not limited to: anticonvulsants (eg, carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarb, phenytoin), androgen receptor inhibitor (eg, enzalutamide), antimycobacterials (eg, rifampin, rifapentine), cytotoxic agent (eg, mitotane), St. John's wort, lumacaftor.
