Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach. Take 2 hr after meals.

Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal disorders: Gastric discomfort, nausea.
Metabolism and nutrition disorders: Anorexia. |
Drug Interactions
May enhance the effect of anticoagulants.

Description:
Mechanism of Action: Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme of Serratia spp source. Experimental evidence to support the mechanism involved in its anti-inflammatory activity has not been published, however, it has been attributed to the hydrolysis of inflammatory mediators such as bradykinin, histamine, and serotonin. Synonym: serratiopeptidase. |
