Indications/Uses
Improvement of the nutritional state of hepatically impaired patients including those w/ hepatic encephalopathy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Reconstitute 50 g (approx 5 tbsp) in about 180 mL of warm water (approx 210 kCal/200 mL) & ingest tid in between meals & before bedtime. Provides protein 40.5 g & energy 630 kCal.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Special Precautions
Not to be mixed w/ acidic substances eg, sour fruit juice.
