Description
Each 100 mL contains Chloramphenicol 0.5 g.
ARCHIFEN is eye drops of synthetic Chloramphenicol which is generally active against both strains of bacteria and also effective in some virus infections and rickettsiosis.
Indications/Uses
Used for blepharitis, dacryocystitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis and corneal ulcerations due to bacterial infections. It is also effective in treating eye diseases caused by viral infections and certain types of rickettsia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply 1-2 drops to the infected eye 4-8 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Warnings
Not suitable for individuals with allergies to this drug.
This drug might be harmful and cause death. It is strictly prescribed by doctors only.
Storage
Store in the refrigerator or at 2-8°C to keep its quality.
