Paget's disease, Sudeck's disease, osteoporosisInj 100 IU/day or every other day, IM or SC. In the case of objective & subjective symptomatology improvement, it is possible to take into account a 50 IU daily administration. If necessary, doses can be increased up to 200 IU/day. Hypercalcaemia 5-10 IU for any body wt, by slow IV inj 2-4 doses w/in 24 hr or through a drop infusion in 500 mL of physiological soln w/in 6 hr. IV infusion Use in emergency or severe cases.

Long-term treatment for bedridden patients should be combined by a mthly check of the biochemical blood & renal function. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
