Per 5 mL Monobasic Na phosphate 2.4 g, dibasic Na phosphate 0.9 g
Indications/Uses
Constipation. As part of a bowel cleansing regimen in preparation for surgery, colon X-ray or endoscopic exam.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Laxative Adult & childn >12 yr 20 mL. Childn 10 to <12 yr 10 mL, 5 to <10 yr 5 mL. Purgative Adult 45-90 mL.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Kidney disease. Patient on strict Na diet.
Special Precautions
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain.
Adverse Reactions
Na retention.
Drug Interactions
Enhanced absorption by vit D.
