Myfortic should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to mycophenolate sodium, mycophenolic acid or mycophenolate mofetil or to any of the excipients (see Description).
Myfortic should not be used in women of child bearing potential (WOCBP) who are not using highly effective contraception methods.
Myfortic should not be initiated in women of child bearing potential without providing a pregnancy test result to rule out unintended use in pregnancy (see Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
Myfortic should not be used in pregnancy unless there is no suitable alternative treatment to prevent transplant rejection (see Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
Myfortic should not be given to women who are breastfeeding (see Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
