Discontinue if hypomagnesemia develops. Moderate or severe hepatic impairment. Reduced vit B12 absorption. Very infrequent cases of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE). Consider stopping of therapy if lesions occur, especially in sun-exposed areas of the skin & if accompanied by arthralgia. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr.
