Individuals w/ malignancies or who are otherwise immunocompromised; those receiving immunosuppressive therapy; HIV-infected individuals; those who received blood transfusion or blood products including Ig w/in 42 days. Risk of transmission of vaccine virus strains to non-vaccinated contacts. Administer w/ caution to individuals w/ immunodeficient close contacts. Use w/ caution infants w/ active GI illness, chronic diarrhea or growth retardation, or a history of congenital abdominal disorders or intussusception. Follow-up on any symptoms suggestive of intussusception (severe abdominal pain or distress, persistent vomiting, bloody stools, abdominal bloating &/or high fever). Delay vaccination in case of acute infection or febrile illness. Not indicated for use in adults. Infant <6 wk.
