Once daily dosing: 5 mg once daily. On-demand dosing: Initially 10 mg taken at least 30 min prior to anticipated sexual activity, may increase dose to 20 mg if effect is inadequate. Max frequency: Once daily.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Serious heart disease or recent heart attack w/in the last 90 days; stroke w/in the last 6 mth; hypotension or uncontrolled HTN; loss of vision due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Concomitant use w/ any form of organic nitrate or nitric oxide donors eg, amyl nitrite; riociguat.
Patients w/ sickle cell anaemia; multiple myeloma; leukaemia; any deformation of the penis; serious liver problem; severe kidney problem. Not known if tadalafil is effective in patients who have had pelvic surgery or radical non-nerve-sparing prostatectomy. Risk of sudden decrease/loss of vision/hearing. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. Contains lactose. Reports of dizziness which may affect ability to drive & use machines. Not intended for use by childn & adolescents <18 yr.
