Hypersensitivity. Serious heart disease or recent heart attack w/in the last 3 mth; recent stroke w/in the last 6 mth; low BP or uncontrolled high BP; loss of vision because of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Concomitant use w/ riociguat; any form of organic nitrate or nitric oxide donors eg, amyl nitrite.
Patients w/ heart disease. Sickle cell anemia; multiple myeloma; leukaemia; any deformation of the penis; serious liver problem; severe kidney problem. Patients who have had pelvic surgery or radical non-nerve-sparing prostatectomy. Discontinue in case of sudden decrease or loss of vision; decreased or sudden hearing loss. Not recommended for continuous daily use. Avoid excessive drinking of alcohol. Intolerance to some sugars. Reports of dizziness; may impair ability to drive & use machines. Not intended for use by women. Not indicated for use by childn & adolescents <18 yr.
Headache, back pain, muscle aches, pain in arms & legs, facial flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion.
Drug Interactions
α-blocker; other antihypertensives; riociguat; 5-α reductase inhibitor; ketoconazole & HIV PIs; phenobarb, phenytoin, carbamazepine; rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin, itraconazole; other treatments for erectile dysfunction. Drinking alcohol may affect ability to get an erection & may temporarily lower BP. Grapefruit juice may affect how Tadilecto will work.
