Adult: As 0.2-0.3% gel: Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival fold of affected eye 3-4 times daily or as required, depending upon the severity of condition.

Pregnancy and lactation. Patient Counselling Remove contact lenses prior to application. This drug may cause transient blurring of vision, if affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

Blurred vision, eyelid margin crusting, corneal irritation, increased lacrimation; periorbital and conjunctival oedema; ocular discomfort, pain, pruritus, and hyperaemia; contact dermatitis.

Carbomer is a polymer of acrylic acid cross-linked w/ polyalkenyl ethers of sugars and polyalcohols. It is used as a tear substitute in the management of dry eyes. Additionally, it is used as suspending agent, gel base, emulsifier, and binding agent in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Absorption: Absorption is negligible in ocular tissues.
Distribution: Rapidly spreads over the conjunctiva and cornea forming a lubricating film w/ prolonged contact time.

Ophthalmic: Store below 25°C.
