Dosage/Direction for Use

Oral
Hyperlipidaemias
Adult: 250 mg tid, increase gradually to 1 g tid.
Adverse Reactions
Facial flushing, gastric discomfort.
Action
Niceritrol is an ester of pentaerythritol and nicotinic acid. It is hydrolysed to nicotinic acid in the body and has been used as a vasodilator and as a lipid-lowering agent.
