Adverse Reactions
After IV administration of acetylcysteine, the following anaphylactic reactions have been seldom reported: Urticaria, angioedema, bronchospasm, nausea, vomiting, hypertension, tachycardia, dizziness and fever. These are probably pseudoallergic reactions due to histamine release. These symptoms may require an urgent therapy.
