Per g Hydroquinone 40 mg, tretinoin 0.5 mg, fluocinolone acetonide 0.1 mg
Indications/Uses
Short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma of the face.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin film to the hyperpigmented areas of melasma once daily at night at least 30 min before bedtime.
Contraindications
History of hypersensitivity, allergy or intolerance to any of the components of Quintri.
Special Precautions
Not indicated for the maintenance treatment of melasma. Hyperpigmentation conditions other than melasma of the face. Avoid sunlight/UV light exposure. Use sunscreen of SPF ≥30. Wear protective clothing. Change to non-hormonal forms of birth control, if hormonal methods are used. Anaphylactic symptoms & life-threatening asthmatic episodes in susceptible people. Exogenous ochronosis in Black, Caucasians & Hispanics. Patients with skin types V & VI. Avoid contact w/ eyes, nose, or angles of the mouth. Carcinogenicity, mutagenicity & impairment of fertility. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation, eg, skin reddening, peeling, mild burning sensation, dryness.
Drug Interactions
Avoid medicated or abrasive soaps & cleansers, soaps & cosmetics w/ drying effects, products w/ high conc of alcohol & astringent. Medications known to be photosensitizing.
