Unconsciousness following cerebral trauma, traffic accident & brain surgery. Psychiatric or nerve disturbances. Improvement of cerebral blood flow eg, in ischaemic stroke.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Acute stage 250-500 mg. Inj Administer by IV drip/inj. Chronic stage 100-300 mg. Inj Administer by IV/IM. Doses are to be taken 1-2 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ acute severe & progressive disturbances of consciousness, hemostatics & ICP-relieving drugs should be administered. Maintain low body temp.
Adverse Reactions
Rarely, transient BP change (<0.1%), insomnia, excitement.
