Description
Each 15 ml contains: Aluminum Hydroxide Gel equivalent to Aluminum Hydroxide 918 mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 300 mg, Simethicone 60 mg.
Action
BELCID is used as an antacid, antiflatulent and demulcent in gastric hyperacidity, heartburn, and used in the symptomatic relief of peptic and duodenal ulcer pains.
Indications/Uses
BELCID is used as an antacid, antiflatulent and demulcent in gastric hyperacidity, heartburn, and used in the symptomatic relief of peptic and duodenal ulcer pains.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tablespoonful (15 ml) 4 times daily, 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as directed by physician.
Special Precautions
Antacid-induced increases in GI pH may affect the rate and/or extent of absorption of concomitantly administered oral drugs by changing GI transit time or binding or chelating the drugs. Concomitantly administered with tetracyclines, digoxin, indomethacin, or iron salts, the absorption of these drugs may be decreased.
Therefore doses of these drugs should be spaced 1-2 hours from doses of BELCID.

No adverse effects have been reported.
