Indications/Uses

Peripheral neuropathies. Inj: Megaloblastic anaemia due to vit B₁₂ deficiency.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Peripheral neuropathies Tab 1,500 mcg daily in 3 divided doses. IM/IV inj 500 mcg 3 times wkly. Megaloblastic anaemia IM/IV inj 500 mcg 3 times wkly. After about 2 mth, decrease dose to 500 mcg at 1-3 mth interval for maintenance therapy.

Overdosage

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

IM/IV inj: Hypersensitivity to vit B₁₂ or D-mannitol.
