Each tablet of PLETAAL Tablets 100 mg contains 100 mg of cilostazol.
Chemical name: 6-[4-(1-Cyclohexyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)butoxy]-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinone.
Molecular formula: C20H27N5O2.
Molecular weight: 369.46.
Melting point: 158-162°C.
Cilostazol occurs as white to pale yellowish white crystals or crystalline powder. It is odorless and tasteless. It is soluble in N,N-dimethylformamide and in benzyl alcohol, slightly soluble in methanol and in ethanol, and practically insoluble in water and in dehydrated ether. (See Table 1.)
