Indications/Uses
Dermatomycoses caused by fungi, yeasts & molds: Athlete's foot, hand fungus, ringworm, jock itch, Pityriasis versicolor & other skin fungal infections (cutaneous candidiasis, erythrasma).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly bid-tid & gently rub in. A strip of cream (½ cm long) is enough to treat an area of about the size of the hand. Duration of treatment: Dermatomycoses 3-4 wk. Erythrasma 2-4 wk. Pityriasis versicolor 1-3 wk. Candida vulvitis & candida balanitis 1-2 wk. Consult a physician if there is no improvement after the recommended duration.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ eyes. Do not swallow. May reduce effectiveness & safety of latex products eg, condoms & diaphragms when applied on the genital area (women: labia & adjacent area of the vulva; men: prepuce & glans of the penis). Wash breast before feeding the child if topically used in nipple area. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Angioedema, anaphylactic reaction, hypersensitivity; hypotension, syncope; dyspnea; blisters, contact dermatitis, erythema, paraesthesia, skin exfoliation, pruritus, rash, urticaria, stinging/burning sensation skin; application site irritation/reaction, edema, pain.
