All types of epilepsy & seizures, myoclonus & associated abnormal movements, panic disorders & status epilepticus.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Initial dose:
Adult
1 mg in the evening.
Childn 6-12 yr
Max: 0.5 mg/day,
1-5 yr
Max: 0.25 mg/day. Maintenance dose:
Adult
4-8 mg/day in 3-4 divided doses. Max: 20 mg/day.
Childn 6-12 yr
3-6 mg,
1-5 yr
1-3 mg,
0-1 yr
0.5-1 mg. Max: 200 mcg/kg.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ acute pulmonary insufficiency, myasthenia gravis, CNS depression or coma, resp depression, sleep apnea.

Special Precautions
Patients w/ muscle weakness, impaired liver or kidney function. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Severe hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly & debilitated patients.
