Special Dosage Instructions: Compatibility with Infusion Solutions: Midazolam solution can be diluted with sodium chloride 0.9%, dextrose 5% and 10%, levulose 5%, Ringer's solution and Hartmann's solution in a mixing ratio of 15 mg midazolam per 100-1000 mL infusion solution. These solutions remain physically and chemically stable for 24 hrs at room temperature, or 3 days at 5°C.
Midazolam solution should not be diluted with Macrodex 6% in dextrose or mixed with alkaline injections.
