Indications/Uses
1st- or 2nd-line treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Neoadjuvant (pre-op) therapy to those w/ localized hormone-receptor positive disease, to allow subsequent breast-conserving surgery.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Premenopausal women. Severe hepatic & renal impairment. Discontinue if tumor progression occurs. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Musculoskeletal pain, nausea, headache, arthralgia, fatigue, dyspnea, coughing, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, chest pain, viral infection, flush, abdominal pain, hot flushes, dizziness, dyspepsia, increased appetite, anorexia, alopecia, increased sweating, rash, peripheral edema.
