Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL, >2 yr 1 mg/kg, 20-30 kg 5 mL, 10-20 kg 3 mL. All doses to be taken tid.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take between meals.

Special Precautions

Patients w/ serious renal insufficiency; diabetes. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn <24 mth.

Adverse Reactions

Hypersensitivity. Nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea; exhaustion, faintness, somnolence, clouding of consciousness (stupor), numbness, dizziness, headache; palpitations.

Drug Interactions

Care should be taken when sedative drugs are simultaneously administered to particularly sensitive individuals.
