Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ or history of thrombosis, embolism; heart attack, stroke or angina pectoris; migraine w/ focal neurological symptoms; pancreatitis; liver illness, impairment or tumor; cancer of the breast or sexual organs. Patients w/ diabetes w/ damaged blood vessels; very high BP & cholesterol or triglyceride levels in the blood; blood clotting disturbance eg, protein C deficiency; renal failure; vag bleeding of unknown cause. Pregnancy.
G03AA12 - drospirenone and ethinylestradiol ; Belongs to the class of progestogens and estrogens in fixed combinations. Used as systemic contraceptives.
