Heart diseases patients receiving cardiac glycosides & patients w/ renal impairment or calculi who might be at increased risk of organ damage if hypercalcemia occurred.
Decreased absorption w/ cholestyramine, colestipol & mineral oil. Patients w/ hypoparathyroidism may result in hypercalcemia w/ thiazides. May increase arrhythmia w/ digoxin or any cardiac glycosides.
