The doses of this medicine are as follows: As Diuretic: Take 1 tablet 3 times a day.
As Anti-urolithiasis: Take 40 to 50 mg/kg body weight per day in 3 equal doses. The usual adult dose is 2 tablets 3 times a day. If the patient is taking Sambong for urolithiasis, the patient must also drink an additional 3 liters of water per 24 hours to prevent dehydration related to its diuretic effect. Normal daily intake of water is 6-8 glasses per day.
The physician may prescribe a different dose for the patient depending on the assessment.
If The Patient Misses a Dose: If the patient missed a dose, may take it as soon as the patient remembers. However if the patient remembers it at a time that is already close to the next dose, just skip the missed dose and take the next dose as scheduled.
