Action
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng is a rich, invigorating blend of natural nutrients such as Siberian Ginseng, lecithin and vegetable oils fortified with vitamins and minerals.
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains Siberian Ginseng, a more superior variety of ginseng which is considered to be an adaptogen whose effect is to increase non-specific resistance of the body to various untoward influences. Ginseng claims to normalize or improve the central nervous system reactivity. Ginseng has a normalizing effect on blood sugar and improves the structure of the blood. It is a potent anti-stress agent with stimulant and anti-depressant actions. Ginseng is antagonistic to alcohol and is an effective remedy for hangover. Furthermore, it reduces the harmful effects of smoking. Ginseng exerts gonadotrophic effect, thereby stimulating the adrenal cortex leading to improvement in male secondary impotence and female climacteric disorders. It delays the aging process and keeps older people fit and alert.
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains vegetable oils, a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids. High intake of unsaturated fatty acids results to low plasma concentration of cholesterol, triglycerol, low-density lipoprotein and very low-density lipoprotein, and high plasma concentration of high-density lipoprotein factors considered to militate against atherosclerosis and myocardial infarction. Furthermore, Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains the essential fatty acid, linoleic acid, invaluable for the formation of prostaglandin and leukotriene and for the structural integrity of the mitochondrial membrane.
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains lecithin which functions to alleviate some neurological disturbances such as Alzheimer's disease; restore memory and cognition; prevent hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis by its lipotrophic effect on fatty liver, solubilizing effect on cholesterol and decrease sclerogenic activity; and promote, in conjunction with cholic acid, the dissolution of gallstones.
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains vitamins. Vitamin A is essential for the normal function of the retina; required for growth and differentiation of epithelial tissues; required for growth of bone, reproduction and embryonic development; and for the prophylaxis and perhaps treatment of malignancies. Vitamin E enhances the intestinal absorption of vitamin A and acts as an antioxidant. Vitamin B Complex and Vitamin C provide the coenzymes and cofactors required by complex metabolic pathways. Furthermore, Vitamin C is important for the synthesis of organic constituents of the intercellular matrix.
Multivitamins with Siberian Ginseng contains essential minerals. Potassium is essential for the maintenance of electrical excitability of nerves and muscles and is invaluable for the genesis and correction of imbalances of acid-base metabolism. Calcium is essential for the functional integrity of nerves and muscles and is necessary for muscle contraction, cardiac function, and maintenance of the integrity of membranes and coagulation of blood. Magnesium is essential for the activity of many enzymes and it plays an important role in neuro chemical transmission and muscular excitability.
