Description
0.65% Spray Solution: Each mL contains: Sodium Chloride 6.5 mg, Benzalkonium Chloride (as preservative) 0.2 mg, Purified Water q.s. ad 1 mL.
2.3% Spray Solution: Each mL contains: Sodium Chloride 23 mg, Sulfate 2.3 mg, Magnesium 1.04 mg, Calcium 0.31 mg, Potassium 0.42 mg, Benzalkonium Chloride (as preservative) 0.20 mg, Menthol 0.02 mg, Purified Water q.s. ad 1 mL.
Snif 0.65% Spray Solution contains a balanced sodium chloride concentration that is almost similar to that of body fluids. Sodium Chloride (Snif) 2.3% Spray Solution contains a hypertonic sodium chloride solution that has a higher salt concentration than body fluids, which makes it stronger. Sodium Chloride (Snif) Nasal Spray Solution is a non-medicated relief for nasal congestion due to colds, allergies, rhinitis and sinusitis. It thins nasal mucus and moisturizes dry nasal passages, making it easier for the nasal and sinus tissues to clear.
Indications/Uses
For nasal discomfort and dryness.
Moisturizes and soothes the nasal passages. Also for dry and inflamed nasal membrane due to low humidity, pollution, cold, surgery and other conditions.
For thick mucus and inspissated crusts.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply 2-4 sprays in each nostril as often as needed or as directed by a doctor. May use a cotton bud to remove excess mucus. Use clean cloth to wipe the tip of the dropper after each use. Snif can be used everyday by children, adults, and by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Missed dose: Just apply the missed dose if still needed for the particular condition being treated and then continue with regular dosing schedule.
Directions for Use: While sitting or standing with the head slightly tilted, spray the solution into the nasal area until the desired effect is obtained.
Overdosage
Signs and symptoms of overdose: There have been no reports of overdose with this product.
What to do when patient has taken more than the recommended dosage: If the patient has used more than the recommended dosage, consult a doctor.
Contraindications
If the patient is allergic to sodium chloride or to any ingredient in the product.
Special Precautions
Do not share this product with others because of the possible increased risk of infection.

Adverse Reactions
This product does not contain any medication and can be used as often as needed without worry of any harmful side effects. However, if the inside of the nose is very dry and irritated, stinging may occur. This product may also induce transient sneezing.
Drug Interactions
Tell the doctor about other medicines the patient is taking, especially other medicines for cough, cold or allergy.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
