Indications/Uses
Resp disorders associated w/ productive cough & in the management of paracetamol overdosage.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 600 mg daily or 200 mg bid or tid. Childn 100 mg bid or qid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Generalized urticaria (rare). Discontinue if allergic symptoms appear. Possibility of hepatic failure.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions, bronchospasm, angioedema, rashes & pruritus, hypotension, HTN (occasionally).
