Description

Each film-coated tablet contains Atenolol 50 mg.
Atenolol (Tenorvas) is a β₁ selective adrenergic receptor antagonist. It competitively blocks β₁ (cardiac) receptors and thus acts as an antihypertensive medication. It has no effect on β₂-receptors. Atenolol (Tenorvas) significantly reduces both maximal and submaximal exercise heart rates.
