Adverse Reactions

Adverse effects are usually mild and transient. Gastrointestinal disturbances including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and dyspepsia are the most frequent adverse effects.
Headache, dizziness, and restlessness are among the most common effects on the CNS.
In addition to rash and pruritus, hypersensitivity-type reactions affecting the skin have included, rarely, vasculitis, erythema multiforme, Steven-Johnson Syndrome, and toxic epidermal necrolysis.
Fluoroquinolones use has been reported to cause visual disturbance associated with bilateral uveitis.
