Azadual Storage

Unopened vials: This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
Reconstituted product: For storage conditions after reconstitution of the medicinal product, see Shelf life as follows.
Shelf life: Unopened powder vial: 24 months.
Store below 30°C.
After reconstitution: Subcutaneous administration: Immediate Subcutaneous Administration: The reconstituted product may be drawn into a syringe and held at room temperature (25°C), but must be administered within 1 hour after reconstitution.
Delayed Subcutaneous Administration: The reconstituted product may be kept in the vial or drawn into a syringe. The reconstituted product must be refrigerated immediately.
When azacitidine is reconstituted using water for injections that has not been refrigerated, the product may be held under refrigerated conditions (2°C-8°C) for up to 8 hours; When azacitidine is reconstituted using refrigerated (2°C-8°C) water for injections, the product may be stored under refrigerated conditions (2°C-8°C) for up to 22 hours.
After removal from refrigerated conditions, the suspension may be allowed to equilibrate to room temperature for up to 30 minutes prior to administration.
Intravenous administration: Azacitidine solution is administered as an intravenous infusion. Administer the total dose over a period of 10-40 minutes. The reconstituted for intravenous administration may be stored at 25°C but administration must be completed within 1 hour of reconstitution of the azacitidine vial.
