Pyridoxine hydrochloride.

Description

Each tablet contains: VITAMIN B₆ (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 100 mg).

Action

Pyridoxine serves as coenzyme in the metabolism of protein, carbohydrate and fat.

Indications/Uses

For treatment of VITAMIN B₆ deficiency states or as prescribed by the physician.

Dosage/Direction for Use

50-150 mg daily or as prescribed by the physician. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a little fluid.

Drug Interactions

Patients being treated with levodopa should not be given VITAMIN B₆ in doses that are several times the daily requirement.
