Discontinue use if any drug allergy or severe adverse reactions; symptoms of insomnia, hallucinations, behavior changes, muscle weakness or fever occur. Patients allergic to benzodiazepines group. Not to be used for prolonged periods. May cause blood cell, hepatic & renal disorders. Open angle glaucoma, porphyria, alcoholism, psychiatric disorders (eg, psychosis, mental depression). History of porphyria; drug or narcotics addiction. Concomitant use w/ other drugs that may increase/decrease function of enzyme metabolized benzodiazepines group; CNS depressant including alcohol or other product containing alcohol. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal impairment. Lactation. May occur paradoxical reaction in childn & elderly.
