On the concomitant administration of MATRADOL with substances which also act on the central nervous system (e.g. tranquilizers, hypnotics) the sedative effect (fatigue) may be intensified. At the same time, however, combining MATRADOL with a tranquilizer for example, will probably have a favorable effect on pain sensation.
MATRADOL should not be used in patients receiving MAO inhibitors.
