SC 0.25 mg once daily, starting on day 6 of FSH administration. COH w/ FSH May start at day 2 or 3 of menses. High responders Starting treatment on day 5 may prevent early LH rise.
Hypersensitivity to ganirelix, dry natural rubber/latex & gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) or any other GnRH analogue. Moderate or severe renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Discontinue if hypersensitivity reaction is suspected. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Increased incidence of ectopic pregnancies in infertile women w/ tubal abnormalities undergoing assisted reproduction particularly IVF; congenital malformations after ART. Women w/ signs & symptoms of severe allergic conditions; weighing <50 kg or >90 kg.
