This medicine contains sorbitol.
When used as directed, each dose of Prospan Cough Syrup contains up to 1.9 g sorbitol.
Please take Prospan Cough Syrup only after consultation with a doctor if the patient has a known intolerance to certain sugars.
Driving and using machines: No special precautions are needed.
Use in Pregnancy & Lactation: This medicine should not be used, as there have not been enough studies performed on pregnant women and mothers who breastfeed.
Use in Children: Prospan Cough Syrup should be used in children under the age of two only after having consulted a doctor. Compared with older children, this age group should be monitored very carefully when being given Prospan Cough Syrup, as particular attention must be paid to possible diarrhoea and vomiting.
