Patients with an active peptic ulcer or symptoms of gastrointestinal inflammation or ulceration should not receive the drug.
The drug is contraindicated in patients with a history or the presence of: Hypersensitivity to phenylbutazone or other pyrazoles; Blood dyscrasias.
