Pharmacology: Zinc Mineral: The deficiency of zinc can cause growth inhibition, sexual dysfunction, short-sightedness (related with heart cirrhosis), lack of appetite and taste, diarrhea, skin inflammation, baldness, dryness of skin and long recovery from injury.
The deficiency of zinc can be caused by deficiency of nutritional intake eg, tight diet, elderly patients, alcoholic patients with cirrhosis, absorption disturbance eg, malabsorption syndrome and cystic fibrosis; IV liquid nutrition administration which is not completed with adequate zinc mineral.
Vitamin B-Complex: Important as a co-enzyme in protein metabolism.
Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant to prevent any important constituent of cellular oxidation.
Vitamin C: Supports the body's metabolism.
Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid : The deficiency of vitamin B12 and folic acid could impact to the hematopoiesis system.
