Warnings
Do not use the drug in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug or any quinolones.
If the symptoms of rash, lethargy/malaise, myalgia and tendonitis had occurred after the administration of the drug, immediately stop the drug and consult physician.
The drug may cause hepatic and renal toxicities.
The drug may cause a concentration-dependent QT prolongation. Use with caution in elderly patients, patients with heart disease especially patients with arrhythmia, hypertension and uncorrected hypokalemia.
Avoid concomitant use of Moxifloxacin with other drugs that prolong the QT interval including class IA (e.g., quinidine, procainamide) or class III (e.g., amiodarone) antiarrhythmic agents, cisapride, erythromycin, antipsychotic agents, tricyclic antidepressants.
The use of drug can cause phototoxicity reaction or severe skin hypersensitivities including toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and erythema multiforme.
The fluctuation of blood glucose will be affected by the use of this drug; therefore, it should be used with caution in diabetes patients.
The activity of warfarin may be increased after the concomitant use with this drug.
Svoz: The drug should not be used in pregnancy and lactation.
The drug can reduce the seizure threshold, according to the dose given, so the drug should be used with caution in patients with CNS disorders.
Svoz Infusion: Pregnant women and breastfeeding women should avoid the use of this drug.Do not use this drug or use with caution in patients with central nervous system (CNS) disorder that may predispose to seizure dosing dependent.
