Dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, guaifenesin (glyceryl guaiacolate) 100 mg, terpin hydrate 130 mg
Indications/Uses
As expectorant & relief of cough due to common cold, bronchitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1 tab tid to qid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not to be used for persistent or chronic cough eg, w/ smoking, emphysema, asthma or cough accompanied by excessive secretions; in patients who received MAOI or 2 wk after discontinuing MAOI. Not to be given during pregnancy. Lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Mild drowsiness, headache, rash, nausea, vomiting, confusion, constipation, GI disturbance, stomach pain, mild dizziness, urticaria.
Drug Interactions
Increased toxicity/effect of MAOI, amiodarone, fluoxetine, quinidine.
