Zemiglo 50 mg is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Zemiglo 50 mg can be administered as monotherapy or in combination with metformin as initial therapy in treatment of naive patients with inadequate glycemic control by diet and exercise; metformin as patients with inadequate glycemic control with maximal tolerated dose of metformin alone; metformin and sulfonylurea in patients with inadequate glycemic control with the maximal tolerated dose of metformin and sulfonylurea dual therapy; insulin (with or without metformin) in patients with inadequate glycemic control with the stable dose of insulin.
