Mucolytic, fluidifying agent in acute & chronic resp disease.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Cap 1 cap 2 or 3 times daily. Dry syr Adult & childn >30 kg 10 mL 2 times daily. Childn 20-30 kg 5 mL 3 times daily, 15-19 kg 5 mL 2 times daily.

Overdosage
View Dosivec overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Hepatic cirrhosis & deficiency of cystathionine-syntethase enzyme. Severe renal failure (CrCl <25 mL/min).

Special Precautions
Active peptic ulcer. DM or patients on low calorie diet. Pregnancy & lactation.
