Indications/Uses
External genital & perianal warts (Condylomata acuminata) & small superficial basal cell carcinoma (SBCC) in adults.
Dosage/Direction for Use
External genital warts Apply 3 times/wk (prior to normal sleeping hrs). Leave on the skin for 6-10 hr. SBCC Apply 5 times/wk for 6 wk to a biopsy-confirmed SBCC.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not recommended for urethral, intra-vag, cervical, rectal or intra-anal human papilloma viral disease; other types of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), including nodular, morpheaform (fibrosing or sclerosing) types; subtypes of BCC other than the superficial variant. Immunosuppressed patients or w/ preexisting autoimmune conditions. Avoid or minimize natural or artificial sunlight exposure. May exacerbate inflammatory conditions of the skin. Patients w/ basal cell nevus syndrome or xeroderma pigmentosum. Do not use on occlusive dressing on treatment area. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Erythema, edema, induration, erosion, flaking/scaling, scabbing/crusting, itching & burning at the application site.
