Pregnancy & lactation. Montelukast: Do not use to treat acute asthma attacks. Do not substitute abruptly for inhaled or oral corticosteroids. May cause systemic eosinophilia, sometimes presenting w/ clinical features of vasculitis consistent w/ Churg-Strauss syndrome; treatment should be reassessed and evaluated if patient develops these symptoms. Cetirizine: Patients w/ predisposition factors or urinary retention (eg, spinal cord lesion, prostatic hyperplasia); epileptic patients & patients who are at risk of convulsions. Concomitant use w/ alcohol. A wash out period of 3 days is required before performing allergy skin test. May affect the ability to drive & use machine.
